Non-Surgical Nose job with PDO threads. What are the risks and can they be removed?

When thread lifting was first introduced, I was enthusiastic about perhaps using it for nasal applications. In my opinion, the strength of the threads is not adequate to gain significant nasal tip lifting. Additionally, I doubt it would last long if at all. Thank you for your question. I would recommend against using PDO threads for the nose as a nonsurgical option. They can be removed but you most likely would have a significant amount of scar tissue, increasing the complexity of the case from a surgical standpoint. If you would like to stick to nonsurgical options, you may want to consider dermal filler. Some mild refinement of the tip may also be possible, depending on the thickness and elasticity of your tip skin. For significant tip refinement, surgical rhinoplasty would be necessary. Seeking an expert in nonsurgical rhinoplasty will give you the best result in the safest manner. @drdonyoo

PDO threads are the archetypical example of the most unethical/fraudulent practices of cosmetic medicine. They do nothing, just like their predecessors, the permanent threads of the early 2000's. If you want the tip of your nose to look better, get a rhinoplasty or don't do anything.
