When can I dye my hair after transplant. 2 months post-op.

After two months you can do anything you want with your hair including dying your hair.  If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor.

At two months post-op, the grafts have healed, and you are free to use hair dye.  I Hope this helps!

Typically it is safe to color your hair 4 weeks after a Follicular Unit Extraction Hair Transplant.

Typically, hair can be dyed at 4 weeks from surgery.  Interestingly, for FUE procedures in light/gray haired patients we will actually dye the hair before we start our procedure.

I generally tell patients that they may color their hair 3 weeks after a hair transplant, and I have not experienced any problems with this. I would follow your surgeon's postoperative instructions. Good luck!

After 3-4 weeks it is safe to dye your hair. Just be sure it is done professionally so that no chemical burn occurs. 

At 2 months and 3 weeks in you are safe to dye your hair. It is usually at around the 3 week mark that you are able to color your hair without any concern about harming your grafts.
