When can I dye my hair after transplant. I am about 2 months 3 weeks in. There are some grey hairs coming up, weak and small. But when can I dye the hair and does it affect the graffs?

Answer: Hair dyeing after transplant Typically, hair can be dyed at 4 weeks from surgery. Interestingly, for FUE procedures in light/gray haired patients we will actually dye the hair before we start our procedure.

Answer: Hair Dye After Hair Transplant Thank you for your question. This is a fairly common concern we hear from our patients. I am going to defer to the surgeon who did your transplant but at our center we allow clients to dye their hair after 3 weeks. I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
