Cutis verticis gyrata caused by hair transplant?

I noticed that i have 3 ridges on my scalp and I'm 100% sure it wasnt there before my hair transplant. Its now 5 months post op and they appeared around 3 weeks post op. What caused this? Will it get worse? What can i do to remove them besides scalp reduction surgery?

Topical minoxidil is a medication used to grow new hair.  The medication does not cause hair loss.

Hair transplant to scar tissue work but the growth may not be as full as normal tissue.  Fat injections will not help.

It is normal to lose transplanted hairs weeks after surgery.  It may take 6 to 12 months to see new hairs grow out.If your hair didn't fall out the way you thought it should or you have red spots, you should contact your doctor for a follow up exam.

It is not possible to gain hair with surgery since surgery is only redistributing existing hair.  There is no way to tell what you are seeing on ads.  If it looks too good to be true, then it probably is.

Many men and women have cowlicks that they do not like.  A hair transplant surgery may be able to even out the empty areas.
