I had a Hollywood carbon peel 8 days ago. I have red bumps and scars on my cheeks have you ever heard of this? I was told there would be no down time and my skin would be glowing. I look worse than I ever have in my entire life.

We haven't seen this in our practice, and you are right, the peel usually results in lovely, glowing skin a few hours after the treatment.  It is possible you reacted to something you used afterwards, so check your products and see if there is something your laser technician applied that you don't normally use.  Some people have very, very sensitive skin and tend to be acne prone, no matter what treatment or procedure is done.  I'd recommend seeing your dermatologist to get an expert evaluation, and best of luck!

I think that this name is being used by offices that don't have the Lutronic equipment. This is proprietary to Lutronic and uses their carbon lotion and the Spectra laser. It should have no downtime if done correction. It uses a 1064 laser which heats the skin and removes the carbon. Darker skin types needs lesser settings. I would get evaluated. Most likely this can be helped with topicals or peels.
