Is it possible to use Emsculpt protocol 1 (for abs) on butt instead of Emsculpt protocol 2?

Question

I had Emsculpt on my stomach and got spectacular results, so I added my butt. On my butt the results were not noticeable. I think it is because I have more fat on my butt than I would like to have. I finished my last of 4 treatments last week. I know the protocol for the butt does not eliminate fat the way that the stomach protocol does so could I have the stomach protocol done on my butt? Or should I just have more treatments on butt?

Hello Cm,
Yes, you may have either the fat sparing or fat reducing settings of EmSculpt when having your glutes treated.  Some patients wish to build muscle and reduce fat when lifting their glutes with EmSculpt while the majority of patients wish to build muscle and preserve the fat on their behind.  Let your physician know what you prefer and you will be treated with the appropriate EmSculpt settings.  Good luck and be well.

It all depends on what you are wanting Emsculpt to achieve? If you are wanting it to build muscle and provide buttock augmentation, then I would suggest stop wasting your money. If you are wanting it to burn fat in the buttock, then well i guess what you see is what you get. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your question.  Emsculpt for the buttocks using protocol 2 will firm, tighten, and lift the buttocks for a more rounded appearance.  Some people see before and afters showing very full buttocks created by Emsculpt.  However, not everyone will get such a boost in volume.  If a patient already does not have a certain degree of fullness to the buttocks already, Emsculpt cannot create full buttocks from flatter buttocks.  If there is alot of fat in the buttocks and you are looking to slim and reduce this fat, then it is possible to use Protocol 1 on the buttocks.
