Hi Sophia, for puffiness and crepey or sagging skin under the eyes, we often use Renuvion helium plasma radiofrequency energy to achieve incredible results and take years off of your appearance. Combining RF energy and cool helium plasma, the signs of aging (wrinkles, pigmentation, skin laxity) are improved in a ‘Nonsurgical Eyelid Lift.' The focused heating tightens and peels the upper layers of skin with extreme precision, leaving the surrounding area undamaged, smoothing and tightening the periorbital skin, and improving the overall skin quality around the eyes. This is an aggressive treatment, and the recovery time is longer than with other nonsurgical procedures, but the results can be life-changing. See an expert to determine if this is the best solution for you. Best, Dr. Emer
Fractional CO2 laser is an excellent tool for skin rejuvenation in our center in Santa Monica. We use the fractional multi-depth ablative approach to help resurface the skin, recontour acne scars, improve incisional plastic surgery scars, and reduce surface irregularities from skin tone to dark pigmentation. Our approach utilizes a multi-depth approach that targets melanocytes in the epidermis and collagen fibroblasts in the dermis. This approach can be combined with a TCA Peel in a process known as a sapphire peel. Fractional laser is excellent for acne scars and contour scars in the skin. Patients are advised to undergo skin protocols with Melarase creams before and after treatment to help reduce pigmentation. Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads can seriously improve surface sun damage and UV related pigmentation. After the laser, we expect redness for a few weeks as the skin improves. PRP and Hydrafacial enzyme facials can further improve skin quality after fractional co2. Best,Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
Hi there, without seeing your pictures it's hard to say what would be most optimal solution for you. While considering various methods of treating your eye issue, please take into consideration the expected results & lenght of downtime period. After PlexR you will experience approximately the same healing period (around up to 10 days) as after surgical blepharoplasty. In my opinion, based on a number of cases I handled, I can say that PlexR unfortunately does not bring satisfactory results , the change in how the eyes look like afterwards, is minor. But it can be a good idea for a person who does not accept surgical treatment & accepts small changes, rather than dramatic ones which is brought by blepharoplasty by plastic surgeon. Best regards, Piotr Osuch, MD, PhD
I have not used the Plexr device but in our own clinic, we use a fractionated CO2 laser or Ematrix when treating loose and crepey eyelid skin.
Thank you for your question. This can happen sometimes after a blepharoplasty because the suture that is used is so fine. Generally, this doesn't cause much of a problem and will eventually work its way to the surface and can be pulled out. The swelling on that side is unlikely related to the...
When a chalazion, (stye), is treated by incision and drainage, it does take a few days to a few weeks for the thickening in the eyelid to resolve. As long as the firm area is getting successively smaller, one may continue to expect it to go away. Alternatively, if the firm area gets...
You are very early after your procedure and assuredly still swollen and healing. I would follow closely with your surgeon to insure healing proceeds as you'd hope it to. Congratulations on your procedure.
