Can I have a facelift with high blood platelets?

I want to schedule a facelift but I have high blood platelets.…587,000. Had had blood tested several times over a period of 6 months and still high. I have been referred to a hematologist. I don’t suppose I can have the surgery until I know what is going on. What do you say?
