Painful pubis area after tummy tuck.

it is always swollen after a tummy tuck particularly if work was done in that region.  you may want to see your surgeon just to be sure.

Dear Nina,    A picture is worth a thousand words. It would have much easier to opine with a picture of the pubic area.  You did not provide information about fever or chills or redness of the pubic , which obviously,  represent infection or even an abscess.     If these symptoms are lacking , than the swelling and tenderness are still part of the healing process which might take 2-3 months if the lipo was done in the pubic area (I do not combine tummy tuck with lipo for safety reasons).    In summary, you clearly need to be seen by your surgeon asap, to rule out infection.
