I bought a cloth tape instead of paper tape,will I still be able to shower? What is the safest way to get the tape off? (photos)

2 weeks post op and kept irritating belly button insicion on panties and clothing then read about taping..but of course realized after the fact that I was suppose to buy micropore tape. I don't want to peel off because I still had scabs underneath so I don't want to rip them off. My ps appt isn't for 3 weeks and he just said to wear granny panties no binder. Thanks in advance for replying and ill be sure not to get wet in the meantime.
