Hello! Am I in the early stages of bottoming out? When my arms are raised my nipples point up. My left breast (side with the tattoo sleeve) has seemed to have a lot of lower fullness as it's healed. Could this be due to implants being too large? I am 5'8" 130lbs and have 445cc gummy bear implants under the muscle. The scar has never moved just seems to sit more on the breast than the other side. Thoughts?
Answer: Implants Your left implant is sitting a little lower than the right. However, textured implants tend not to bottom out because they tend not to move.

Answer: It can be improved without revision surgery. The implant on the left seems to have come down a little, but it's not too bad. Of course, the bigger the implant, the higher the probability of bottoming out, but the not-so-large implant may also come down. If it has not been 6 months since the current surgery, you can achieve some improvement if you keep trying to raise the implant position by shortening the left bra strap. Please wear a bra well to prevent the implant from coming down any further.

Answer: Am I in the early stages of bottoming out? your photos suggest your implants are in a good position at this time with no suggestion of bottoming out. It's not unusual for nipples to point slightly upward when the arms are raised. The positions appear good with you arms at your sides. As you are concerned, you should still make an appointment to discuss this with your surgeon. He or she would have the advantage of examining you and can make a more accurate diagnosis.

Answer: Bottoming out Dear Exciting542391, Bbottoming out occurs when the implant falls below the current breast crease or inframammary line. It's more likely to happen with inframammary incisions, which is why I try not to use the inframammary approach to any breast surgery. Bottoming out can also occur if an implant is too large for the breast pocket. That is why it is important to choose an implant size that's correct for your body. I perform numerous measurements in the office to determine optimal implant size for my patient's bodies. If you are concerned, please check it with your plastic surgeon for reassurance and to further discuss your options and possibility of revision. Answer: Bottoming out Hello, thanks for your question and photos. As you may know, it's necessary to have a physical exam to say if you have a bottoming out process. From the photos, you look well and I don't see signs of that. Please consult a board-certified plastic surgeon for an in-person exam. Good luck!
