Is there any way to improve my alar base reduction results? (Photos)

Question

I had rhinoplasty with Alar Base Reduction 3 weeks ago. I HATE the outcome. I have no alar flare left, nostrils are terribly asymmetrical and he overresected alar tissue. He actually botched me and I’m devastated. I don’t know what to do as I know rewidening the base requires external tissue but I’m desperate enough to accept scarring. I’m so depressed. Is there ANY way to improve this? Please. I don’t look like myself anymore.

Hello, thank you for your question and provided information, overall shape of your photos would help more.You are in  weeks post-op recent healing process and for that reason you have edema and swelling as a part of healing phase and if we consider that you have externel incision your healing can require more time. After completing your healing process you can have a revision rhinoplasty to improve your  nose.Regards,

your dorsum and tip are collapsed because of over-resection and lack of support .... this can be restored with structural grafting... the alar base issues are a bit more challenging... small composite grafts can be placed but they are suboptimal... there is usually room for improvement in revision rhinoplasty provided that the skin envelope is permissive, the patient is properly educated and has reasonable expectations good luck
