Would facial fat transfer/grafting affect lymphatic drainage in the same manner that dermal fillers do?

Fat transfer should have less effects than filler because there is less inflammation. Some patients react to the filler breakdown products with fluid accumulation in tissues and I have seen selling below the tear trough after filler that has not resolved even after enzymatic dissolving the filler. I have not seen that problem with fat except short term in the early recovery phase.

There is no evidence that fillers cause lymphatic blockage. this is most likely a providers weak excuse blaming the patient instead of taking ownership and responsibility for the outcome of their procedures.
Likewise, fat transfer also does not block lymphatic drainage.
Lymphatic drainage of the face is abundant and the chance of any single procedure creating facial lymphedema is extremely unlikely.
Aesthetic procedures around the lower eyelids are technically very difficult. It is simply a very challenging area to work in. Small changes in volume in unintended areas can create opposite results of what providers and patients are hoping for. The need for working with highly experienced and talented providers for anything in this area cannot be overstated.
