If your diabetes is well controlled and you get medical clearance then is is possible to have a BBL. Diabetics are prone to more complications.

If you are young, healthy, and have no other medical problems, you should do well with BBL if your blood sugars have been consistently under good control and your HgA1C is less than 6.
