Can the nose become larger/more bulbous with age?

Short answer -- yes... but this is not an absolute.  Cartilage growth varies, and noses and ears, composed of a significant amount cartilage may grow with age... With the nose specifically, the tip may lose some refinement and droop.  Regardless, based on the photographs you posted on your other question, I think a tip rhinoplasty would benefit you and set your mind at ease about any possible nose growth in the future...Good luck.Dr Markarian

This is an age old question as to whether or not the nose continues to grow. From what I have seen, the answer is yes - mostly.  There are no absolutes and not everyone's nose grows as they get older, but from my experience, you may want to head this off at the pass and discuss with a skilled rhinoplasty surgeon.

This  is not an illusion. Yes morphological changes to the nose do occur with aging resulting in drooping, bulbosity, and a loss in tip definition sometimes due to increased sebaceous gland size. The changes are part of the aging process.
