Doctors, I have a before and after photo of my surgery (rhinoplasty/septoplasty). I am no longer swollen; cannot breathe out of my left nostril. My concern & reason for surgery was my breathing- not cosmetic- operative report states osteotomies; verbally told my nose was deprojected & that my nose was moved. My nasal bridge is very numb, red & hurts. Can my brow to tip lines be fixed- Can my nose be made to appear as it did?

Hello. Great question. However, the pictures provided are not very clear to evaluate your concerns. How long ago was your procedure? If it has been less than a year, I will suggest waiting before planning to undergo another surgical procedure. This procedure involves the manipulation of the nasal bones and nasal cartilage, which then leads to an abundance of swelling. The swelling misguides the results of your procedure. It takes a few months to one year for all the swelling to go down. Until then we can examine your final results. Be patient. As for your breathing problems, I suggest consulting with your surgeon as he knows you best. If concerns persist, please contact a board certified plastic surgeon for a detailed examination.
