Will Liposuction to the breast work to reduce size after a Breast Reduction that didn't make me small enough? (photo)

Breasts are made of 2 basic tissues, glandular tissue which can't be liposuctioned and fat, which can be liposuctioned.  Having just operated on you, your surgeon should know what your breasts contain and advise you accordingly.  From the appearance of your photos, you may be best served by a new skin resection to decrease the size of your breast skin envelope as more tissue is removed, to prevent a deflation of the breasts.  Good Luck.

Liposuction can certainly remove volume from your breasts (unless your breasts are mostly made of breast gland tissue, not fat) and that will lead to a deflated look.  A redo reduction (cutting out excess skin) is the best way to proceed

She is correct in saying that liposuction will just deflate the breast. I think this option it will leave you with a poor result. You simply need a more aggressive elegant breast reduction

Sometimes, liposuction surgery can be used as a tool during initial and revisionary breast reduction surgery. Based on your photographs, I think you will do best with additional skin/tissue resection.  This type of revision and surgery will significantly improve the contour and position of your breasts.  Liposuction surgery alone will likely leave you with loose skin, irregularities, and an overall unsatisfactory aesthetic outcome. That wasn't much tissue resection for a breast reduction.  Decision for liposuction would depend in skin laxity and whether the tissue remaining is fibrous or fatty. A more expedient method might be to lose a few pounds and see if that has an effect.

Yes, many times Liposuction can be used after a breast reduction to further reduce the size of the breast. It works best on very fatty breasts and in older individuals. Your surgeon should be able to tell you whether that is a good option for you. Waiting for the effects of the surgery for several months afterwards is helpful, before performing the liposuction.

Liposuction can be a great technique for touch ups after breast reduction assuming you have a significant amount of fat in the breast as compared to fibrous breast tissue.I am sure your surgeon would know the relative fat content from the surgery and path.
