I can’t afford a rhinoplasty, what should I do?

I would like a rhinoplasty but cannot aford it,All I have is 300.Is it possible to get a good and reliable doctor and a good rhinoplasty with this low of a price?

Thanks so much for your question!  A cosmetic rhinoplasty will cost more than $300.  I recommend an in-person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss options for you, as sometimes a liquid rhinoplasty with fillers could improve the appearance of your nose.

best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation.  The cost of rhinoplasty varies based on geographic region and surgeon expertise.  Many surgeon's office have payment plans such as CareCredit.   Make sure you specifically look
at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery
performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most
important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend
that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who
can evaluate you in person.

In my opinion, rhinoplasty surgery is not the type of surgery that you should do simply based on an inexpensive price.  As mentioned by some of my colleagues, the nose is the centerpiece of the face and should not be taken lightly.  Also, plastic surgeons who perform rhinoplasty well have had years upon years of surgical training in order to do so. Therefore, you will be paying for the expertise.  There are many ways to finance surgery.  My best advice would be to save your money and choose a surgeon wisely.  If you do, this will be money well-spent.

In my opinion, elective cosmetic surgery of the face is not the place to search for mega-discounts. The nose is the center of your face... and if you get "botched"... you will not be able hide what has happened. $300 is not enough money to move forward. Save up... and do it right!

$300 is not going to be enough to provide you with a rhinoplasty by any reputable surgeon. However, there is an option in Boston where you may be able to have surgery performed in an academic resident clinic,  which is supervised by a board-certified plastic surgeon. . My advice to you would be to pursue that route and see what the best price is that they can give you.
