I recently had rhinoplasty and septoplasty and I found out today that there is a metal rod in my columella. Any suggestion?

noes dude
he said it was shaped like an upside down v. is this normal? is this common? my noes dont look or feel well and i still cant breath out my right side 23 days post op right now. I hope this can be fixed. Im Really nervous and upset with this also im curious if my columella will soften they also did a rib graft! its so hard and just big and it hangs to low. Im hoping it just softens and shrinks is that possible? or is it more doubtful? I only seen assistant today and he had no answers.
