he said it was shaped like an upside down v. is this normal? is this common? my noes dont look or feel well and i still cant breath out my right side 23 days post op right now. I hope this can be fixed. Im Really nervous and upset with this also im curious if my columella will soften they also did a rib graft! its so hard and just big and it hangs to low. Im hoping it just softens and shrinks is that possible? or is it more doubtful? I only seen assistant today and he had no answers.

There are many types of rhinoplasties. If you have the dorsal hump removed alone, then your frontal appearance won't change much. If you also have work on your tip, or your nostrils or the base of your columella, then changes from the front will be quite noticeable.
The tip of the nose can take up to a year to achieve really good definition after rhinoplasty. One thing that can accelerate the process is to have a serious preparation injected into the tip of the nose, using a steroid called kenalog.
