Will nose get more of a slope as swelling diminishes? I'm 9 days post op (Photo)

Thanks for your question.  In my practice, for a similar patient, I would try to get the surgical correction performed for their nose within the first couple of weeks after breaking it.  If you wait longer than this it will be much more difficult to move and set the nasal bones....

It takes about 6 months so there is still a lot of swelling in your nose.  I would suggest waiting about 4 more months before making any final assessments.

Nasal obstruction is a complex phenomenon which means that there is no therapy that can be prescribed over the internet; one can only speculate.You may have still mild swelling of the inner nasal lining. Or there maybe dryness. Or you may have some collapse of what the so-called the nasal valve....

I agree that there is no particular aesthetic problem with the profile. The asymmetry of the tip from the front view as well as the worms eye view can be addressed by tip rhinoplasty. This issue should not be aggravated by aging.
