Hello, I am distraught following a Revanesse Versa injection I received Jan. 2019 that has gotten worse over time. I’ve had great/very subtle results with Juvederm but following Revanesse I noticed a drastic difference in my lip composition which has completely altered my side profile and is extremely unflattering. My top lip is so puffy and protrudes so much now, hanging over the lower lip. It has pulled my face forward and has aged me and looks uneven/unnatural. Will Hyaluronidase help?!!

Answer: Can I get hyaluronidase If you did get Revanesse Versa then yes it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase as it's an HA filler. It's not necessarily the filler that matters - though that's important too - but it's more about the injector and where the injections were placed. When injecting the lips, the natural shape of the lips should be followed and the bottom lip should be injected more than the top - so that you don't end up with a heavy, duck-like upper lip. So don't necessarily be afraid to get Versa again - but make sure your injector is well experienced with lip injections and is following the shape of your lips. Additionally, to get the filler out, make sure you see an experienced injector. Removing fillers is just as much an art as putting them in to begin with.. And it will most likely take a few rounds of hyaluronidase to remove entirely. "This answer has been solicited without seeing this patient and cannot be held as true medical advice, but only opinion.
