Thank you for your question. It is much better to accurately discuss implant volume and projection with an in office exam and detailed measurements. In order to make an accurate size recommendation, I would need to assess your chest wall and breast mound measurements/characteristics. I use these measurements to help me during the sizing process to guide you to a safe result for your chest wall and just as important, one that meets your end desires. The next step is to try on this range of implants in the office with your doctor. The key to this success is showing your surgeon the body proportion you desire with a bra sizer and allowing your surgeon to guide you to the right implant. It will be much easier to communicate in implant cc's than cup size when determining the appropriate implant for you during the sizing process. In addition, review of photos and use of rice bags can be very helpful to the patient and surgeon in achieving a safe and happy result. Close intereaction and involvement from your surgeon during this process can help alleviate the anxiety and fears of choosing the right size. I wish you a safe recovery and fantastic result.Dr. Gill
It is impossible to say whether or not a 300cc implant would be appropriate for you without seeing you in person. Best of luck.
Your choice of breast implant size should be made after a formal consultation and breast implant sizing system evaluation.During the breast implant sizing system specially shaped implants of various sizes can be placed into a non-padded bra so that you can see how you will look.Is very important to base your decision on the look you want to achieve. That said 300 cc breast implants often look very nice on a small framed woman but are not overly large. Generally speaking 200 cc of breast implant can increase you by 1 cup size in the bra that you are currently wearing. For more information on choosing breast implant size please read the following link:
Proper implant sizing is a complex process. It depends on your goals and anatomy.Looking at many pictures on realself or plasticsurgery.org will easily show you people with your current size and shape and what they look like after 200,300,400,500 cc implants etc.You can get a feeling for what looks right for your aesthetic sensitivities.Your doctor may also have sizers you can try on and should measure the dimensions and evaluate your current breast skin tone to help determine the appropriate size and projection
The posted photos are quite concerning. Plus you did not specify time frame of each. To me I am worried about exposed implant.. Who was your surgeon and you need PO or IV antibiotics, NOW! In addition if the implant is exposed than operative repair of the incision and/or implant removal... If...
If you are concerned about too much upper pole fullness, you might consider a shaped implant such as the Sientra or Allergan 141's rather than a round implant. From your photos it appears as though your right nipple is slightly lower than the left and this asymmetry will persist after surgery.
With 500 cc, you probably got a good enough sized implant. However, only time will tell if you'll be happy with the results. Wait about 4 months before judging your results.
