thanks for the question. In my practice i usually perform both procedures in the same surgical time in healthy patients. You can achieve great results performing the tummy tuck with liposuction transferring the fat to buttocks and hips for the BBL. is good for you to know that in a personal consult with a board certifed surgeon after a complete evaluation we are going to define better whats best for you. Kind regards
The combination of the TT and BBL can be performed in healthy patients by a board certified plastic surgeon who is an expert in both and can perform the combination in 4 hours or less.Performing the surgeries at the same time is not an issue. I usually advise performing the liposuction of the abdomen, sides, and back with the fat transfer to the buttocks first. Then return 3 to 6 months later and perform the TT.This will will add a measure of safety. In addition, recovery will be easier. The TT will prevent you from resting on your stomach, and the BBL will prevent you from resting on your back or butt.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
You'll need to do both procedures at the same time. If you did the tummy tuck first then all the abdominal fat that you need to harvest for the BBL would be lost. If you don't want them done at the same time then you could do the BBL (liposuction) first and then the tummy tuck later to remove the excess skin and tighten the abdomen.
Thank you for your question. Combination procedures are safe and very effective in the right hands. The surgeon has to be an expert in each procedure and must have a lot of experience in performing combination procedures and can minimize the operative time. For example, we work in a team and would less hours for the complete operation. This allows us to get better results with less surgical time and less trauma. Having combination of procedures is always cheaper than getting them separately, plus you get the additional benefit of having just one recovery period. You definitely have to choose your surgeon correctly and make sure that he/she has the training and experience to meet your goals with absolute safety. Don’t settle for less than a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with specialized expertise in this procedure.
Hi and thanks for your photos. You are and ideal candidate for a combined procedure Tummy Tuck Plus Lipo and BBL (Fat Transfer to Buttocks). This is always possible when you are in good health and you have high hemoglobin level. You undoubtedly will improve your body contour, but try to keep realistic expectations for your results. There are differences in bone structure, fat distribution, height, weight, and genetics between you and your whish pics. So go on knowing you will be the best as you can achieve.Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS)Member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS)Certified Plastic Surgeon
I do them separately and together depending on the patient's health and fitness levels. Doing them simultaneously does prolong the recovery so you have to be ready if you decide to go that route. As Dr. Hazani indicated, the risk of complications increases does rise when you combine procedures so think things through carefully.
Hello, Thank you for your pictures and question. Based on your photos, you appear to be a good candidate for both procedures, it is safe to combine them, with those procedure you could achieve a more contoured shape. I recommend that you meet with a board certified plastic surgeon in person to talk about your goals and evaluate options. All the best!!
I would recommend staging these two procedures due to difficult recovery and increased rate of complications. Seek a plastic surgeon who performs many of these procedures, has great reviews and photos, and is an expert in this field.
Hi there and thanks for your photos. You may stage your surgeries or do them both together at the same time. Some patients prefer staging their surgeries because that makes it easier to lay on the stomach and move around. Please meet with a board certified plastic surgeon in person to discuss your options and concerns. Best wishes!
Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well. Based on your pictures you are good candidate for liposuction with a traditional tummy tuck. This combination has become very common. It is safe to combine both procedures. As long as you are healthy and at a stable weight the procedures can be done. I recommend to book a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss the best options for your goals. Good luck :)
Thank you for your question. The answer is yes, you can have these procedure done at once. I would suggest to be treated by board certificated plastic surgeon with experience in this procedure, to get the best desired results. Respectfully,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-
That is a very common area for flattening due to normal anatomic pressure points. Exercise is always good but in this case, it will not make much of a difference. Additional fat transfer may help a little bit but you will have to mostly accept it as normal result especially in the face su...
Thank you very much for this very relevant question. The very problem that is unappreciated in an area of liposuction is very welcome in the area that has received the fat. The buttom. A lot of women are so very happy with their immediate postoperative shape that even though they knew that the...
