Borderline for breast lift - will donut/Benelli lift give me good results? (photo)

Hi there, in my opinion you don’t need any kind of lifting surgery. Because your breasts aren’t saggy just lost their volume. With a little bit bigger implants (approximately 300 cc) you may have perky, firm and natural looking breasts.

A donut/Benelli lift should be more than adequate in your case and depending on your goals you may not need a lift at all. If you haven't already, you should discuss with your surgeon, the anticipated outcome with and without the lift.

You have completely normal breast shape with very little, if any, ptosis (breast of nipple sag). If anything, you may desire some upper pole fulness where a small saline implant or fat transfer can suffice. It all depends on what you want, but a breast lift is not in your future in my opinion. Augmentation with preservation of the circummamarian ligament over the muscle with low or moderate profile silk smooth implants should be a good option for this case. Any type of breast list is not necessary

Thank you for your question. By looking at your photos, your nipple is positioned above the inframammary fold, and you only have mild sagging. Therefore, a breast lift may not be necessary at this time and would leave additional scars. Instead, you can achieve a perkier and fuller appearance with implants alone. Considering your wide breast diameter (16 cm), I recommend a moderate-profile implant, as it would provide a balanced, natural shape without being overly round or projecting too much. A size in the 300-350cc range would likely deliver the volume and fullness you desire. If you're looking for more fullness in the upper pole, a moderate plus profile implant may be a good option, as it offers slightly more projection than the moderate option. If, after the implants settle, you still feel that your breasts require tightening, you can opt for a lift.

my preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity.

I would not recommend you get a lift. Just the augmentation should be enough. This would add scars that may not be worth the mild improvement.

I would never recommend a donut lift. They lead to flattening/stretching of the nipple-areola complex and widened scars/areolas. You do not need a donut lift. Your options are a large implant to fill out the soft tissue laxity or perform a lift with a smaller implant. This all depends on your breast measurements using "tissue based planning" as described by Tebbetts and Adams.

Based on the photographs provided, your nipple areolar complexes are in a good position in relation to your inframammary folds, with only mild glandular ptosis (amount of breast tissue that sags below the fold). This can be corrected by placing a breast implant in the subglandular, subfascial, or dual plane position without the need for a breast lift. I hope this helps. Good luck.

I recommend a circumareola approach and eccentric circle to be used. This will pull the nipple-areola complex slightly higher and more medially at the same time. Through this approach, you can also place an implant. I recommend small implants or fat transfers.
