You can absolutely do a lift and maintain volume without Implants. Plenty of our patients come to us wanting to maintain as much volume and Breast Tissue as possible. I find personally, the Weiss Pattern, or Anchor incision, with an Auto-Augmentation gives a great result.
You are a perfect candidate for Pushup Breast Lift technique. In this technique we can preserve all breast tissue, shaping it and fill the upper pole, preserving all breast ligaments, sensibility and vascularization. We always use inverted T scar to give a 3D skin reshaping, scars heals like invisible after a year.
Dear Lila Petrova,my preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity. Hi, according to your pictures, I surely can say that you can get vertical lifting but I am not sure that you have enough breast tissue. In my opinion vertical lift with small size implants would be perfect solution for you. But if you absolutely sure that you don’t want to get implants, then you have to be agreeing with small size breasts.
I recommend an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and be measured. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what is right for them. thank you for your question. A breast lift with autoaugmentation for example could be an option for you. A breast lift with autoaugmentation uses a patients own breast tissue for support and a perkier appearance. Whenever the skin has been stretched and is somewhat loose, an additional skin incision in the inframammary crease might be necessary. I hope this info helps a little.
A full breast lift can be performed without the need for implants. You could opt for a vertical lift only, but the anchor lift incision will provide a better outcome. The anchor incision removes more skin and allows the breast to be lifted higher and provides better shape and fullness. It is important to consult with an experienced plastic surgeon who can customize your surgical plan and determine the best technique for you based on your individual anatomy and goals.Krishna Vyas, MD, PhD, MHSHarvard, Hopkins, & Mayo Clinic Trained Aesthetic Plastic SurgeonNew York, New York
I would definitely recommend a full breast lift. To achieve a durable result with lift and shape, tissue must be removed from the lower aspect of the breast. If not, you will be back unsatisfied. Even though tissue is removed, your final result is a proportionate "C" cup. See attached for reference. I would not hesitate to proceed. Thank you.
Thank you for your photographs. If the nipple/areolar complex needs to be moved 2 cm or less upward, a vertical incision only may be used. If the nipple/areolar complex needs to be elevated more than 2 cm and the distance from the nipple to the inframammary fold is greater than 10 cm, some skin along the inframammary fold usually needs to be removed to keep the nipple to IMF distance close to 9 or 10 cm. So instead of only a vertical incision, you may require some form of a Wise pattern to achieve the optimal shape of your breasts as well as correct nipple position. From your photographs, it appears that your nipples would need to move approximately 4 cm superiorly and therefore a Wise pattern breast lift would be in your best interest and give you your best result. Best wishes.
Yes. If you are happy with the volume of your breasts, then a lift will be what you need. However, your breasts seem too long for just a vertical scar. Sometimes the breasts look more like torpedo's without horizontal skin reduction.
Unfortunately, despite 2 breast lifts, due to the inadequacy of the technique used, your areola diameter remained too large and the upper pol fullness of your breast could not be achieved. However, there is also a serious asymmetry. In this case, Pushup Lift will be the most suitable technique...
Thank you for your inquiry! We would love to meet with you to discuss the concerns you have and also discuss the revision for the retained areola. Schedule a consultation with a Board-Certified Plastic to discuss your goals.
This is a totally normal and acceptable technique . . . a Vertical Mastopexy. You will be shocked at how that skin will shrink to nothing and hide in the crease. Having said that, sometimes a remnant "dog ear" can remain which can be revised 6 months after the original procedure. I use this...
