I have a roll under my boobs and I can’t stand it. Got it after I had my first son and it just never went away. Does anyone know if it will go away after I have my TT? Or will it just be minimized? I asked my Dr but he was pretty vague. I need answers! Lol, I just want to stop having to pull my bra down to cover it. Any advise is helpful.
Answer: Under boob roll treated with The Bellesoma Lift Your breasts are large and pulling down on your chest wall. A breast lift using The Bellesoma Method may solve your roll problem. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. The weight of the breast is transferred to the underlying pectoralis major muscle resulting in pain relief and long term stability. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed are maintained. At the same time, liposuction can be performed of this area or abdominoplasty. I always recommend doing the breasts first otherwise the tummy tuck will pull the breasts lower. Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Find New Doctor Hello,If your doctor was vague, it doesn't sound like confidence or experience. That is not an under boob roll, that is your upper abdomen, and it represents mostly excess skin, so it can be flattened very well, especially if progressive tension sutures are employed. Another benefit is eliminating the use of drains. Go visit a few ABPS certified/ASAPS member surgeons who use progressive tension sutures for their tummy tucks. Best of luck!

Answer: Under boob roll. Will it go away after I have my TT? Thank you for your question and photo. Based on this single view photo and no other information, you are NOT a good candidate for a tummy tuck in my opinion. Others seem to disagree. It depends what is your long term goal. If you want an hourglass figure, due to your significant fat layer that you have, you need a staged procedure. If you were my patient, I would do VASER lipo 360 degrees (whole abdomen, pubic area, full back, waist, hips, lower back fat pad, anterior and lateral chest wall up to and around breast crease, armpits) with possible fat grafting to the buttocks (no photos to really evaluate this) and a tummy tuck 4-8 months later with a low pubic bone level incision and a much, much shorter scar than if you have your tummy tuck now with "some" liposuction.See a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques for an in person consultation/evaluation. See enclosed web reference. Good luck.

Answer: Tummy tuck candidate Dear Pnut33,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination but you will most likely benefit from a combination of tummy tuck and liposuction. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
