Can smoking after rhinoplasty make your nose smaller?

I have read online that smoking can cause cartilage to dissolve. If you smoke after rhinoplasty, could it make the shape of your nose smaller or alter your results structurally? Like could it have made my nose tip smaller?

Hello! Smoking after any surgery would have untoward consequences. I don't believe that it would make your tip smaller. It would cause issues with blood flow, healing, and increased risk of infection. The best ways to assist your result after surgery is careful follow-up, a low salt diet, taping nightly, and possible steroid injections. Hope this is useful.

Smoking could dissolve cartilage and the recovery would be longer. Also Smoking cause cancer and Heart disease. Is very dangerous
