The left side photo is my nose currently. The right side is my inspiration on how I would like my nose to look (looking the same but a shorter version) I hate the projection of my nose tip. What type of Rhinoplasty would be required for this type of surgey given I am only really interested in changing the tip?
Answer: I think the morph could be better... It's true that you have a projecting tip, and I too would like to see the tip of your nose closer to your face. When a tip is deprojected, though, it tends to make the nose *look* longer, as if the tip had dropped. So it's important to elevate the tip at the same time. I'd love for you to see a good morph showing a shorter nose; you might decide it's a better goal for a rhinoplasty. Finally, remember that rhinoplasty is an exquisitely difficult operation to get right, and you should only have surgery if you are able to make yourself very confident in your surgeon's skills. The changes that your nose needs require advanced techniques, and skill that most plastic surgeons don't possess with expertise. For most noses, it's much better to not have surgery than to have inexpertly-performed surgery. Read my essay on how to stay out of trouble while selecting a rhinoplasty surgeon. And it also discusses how to take photos that are best for online evaluations.

Answer: You may benefit from a rhinoplasty Thank you for providing photos. While a proper evaluation is best, your photos show you have an over-projected nose. The goal of rhinoplasty for an over-projected nose is setting the tip back and bringing it closer to the face. The bridge may also be lowered to maintain proportion with the remainder of the nose and face. I recommend scheduling a consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon with expertise in rhinoplasty. They can do a proper assessment of your nose and facial features and customize the best surgical approach to achieve your desired results.

Answer: Rhinoplasty Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photo you have over projection. With open rhinoplasty tip of your nose can be deprojected and you can achieve your goal. If you can provide photo; from the front of your face and 1 meter away I would be able to make a proper evaluation. It would be more convenient to decide with face-to-face consultation. Best Regards!

Answer: Rhinoplasty To reduce nasal projection, the bridge dorsum has to be reduced as well as the tip so a full rhinoplasty is required. Your goals are reasonable.

Answer: Rhinoplasty I think that only doing the tip won’t be sufficient. Your nose is too large and the bridge needs to be lowered. It would be a full rhinoplasty. I would do this as a closed rhinoplasty but open would be ok too
