Oily nasal tip and eligibility for rhinoplasty?

Hi. I’m looking to address nasal tip length, specifically to shorten it. However, I have read that having an oily nasal tip doesn’t lend itself very well to refinement. I don’t know whether the skin is thick or thin, but it tends to have a lot of blackheads and pores. I’m a 34 year old female. Would this therefore exclude my eligibility for a rhinoplasty to address the nasal tip?

Thank you for your question.If your skin structure is thick, the healing time is slightly longer than thin skin structure.It is not possible to make an true evaluation without sending your photos.If you can provide photos with , from the side of your face and 1 meter away I would be able to make a proper evaluation. Hello, hope you are well. Your skin quality plays an important role in rhinoplasty, but most of the structural change is effected by changing the shape of the underlying cartilage and bone. Modern techniques allow us to perform rhinoplasty on all types of noses with varying skin thickness, color and oiliness (sebaceous skin). In some cases, retinoid cream or Accutane is given as an adjunct. So, I wouldn't let your self-perception dissuade you--it would be best to consult with a rhinoplasty surgeon for a more personalized opinion on whether your goals are achievable.
