It really depends on how much of an improvement you want from the pubic lift, and if this improvement can be achieved by your surgeon. It would be a good idea to discuss this with your surgeon, so that you can then make a decision on whether it would be "worth it".

To me an ideal tummy tuck has tight skin (but not excessive so that it looks fake), nice contouring that gives natural shape to the sides and potentially muscle definition), a natural belly button that is indrawn and hides the scars, and a very low, well hidden scar.

The scar position I like is around 5-6cm above the top of the vagina. In placing it there, not only is the scar hidden but it does a good job of elevating an otherwise ptotic (droopy) pubic mound. For some patients it is one of the greatest delights from a tummy tuck. I think that nearly all patients get the benefit of a pubic lift with a low scar tummy tuck. In placing it there, much of a bulky pubic mound is also resected. For truly heavy pubic mounds, additional procedures like liposuction may be required. Patients that have concerns about their pubic mound should discuss it with their surgeon. For many they will be happy to discover that the area is going to be improved.

Thank you for your question. A pubic lift in many cases is a necessary part of abdominal contouring. Especially if you’re mond already bothers you, it is going to be exaggerated after your tummy is flattened. Only you however can put a price tag as to what is “worth it”. Good luck

Most tummy tucks include a pubic lift. Unfortunately you have to pay more for this in your situation. In our office a pubic lift is standard with all tummy tucks as our incisions are placed low and the extra fat is always removed from the mons area. Each surgery practice is different, however. Patients in general are happier with a lifted and less protruding pubic area after surgery. Best wishes in your surgical journey!

Your abdomen is very protruding and saggy and Tummy tuck and a tight muscle repair will help you to create a beautiful and attractive flat abdomen and smaller waist but a thick and saggy mons will ruin your beautiful result.
I would recommend a Mons reduction but instead of liposuction I would do Mons Lipectomy in order to preserve the Scarpa fascia and being able to do a mons lift at the same time of reduction to prevent the dead space, seroma and distortion.
Be encouraged. Just imagine a curvaceous body, flat abdomen and flat and rejuvenated mons area as well.

The pubis gets lifted automatically with a tummy tuck. So you shouldn’t have to pay extra for it. If your surgeon says it doesn’t get lifted automatically get another opinion. Because you requested a pubic lift the surgeon saw an opportunity to squeeze a little more money out of you. Typical

An examination in person would be required to properly evaluate you specifically and make treatment recommendations, and it appears you may have had surgical or non-surgical fat removal from your tummy previously, however to answer your question specifically, every plastic surgeon has his or her specific preferences and protocols both clinically and financially in terms of how they structure and determine their respective fees. Many patients such as you who are seeking abdominoplasty also complain of extra fullness in the pubic area and, depending on how much extra work needs to be done to correct this problem, there may be additional costs that relate to the length and complexity of the procedure and time in the operating room.

I wouldn’t do the tummy tuck without addresssing your prominent mons. If it is not taken care of it will stick out like a loaded penis. The tummy tuck will flatten your belly, lifting and reducing your mons will probably enhance your clitoral exposure and orgasmic ability. Good luck.
