Answer: BodyTite Approved by FDA BodyTite, FDA cleared, and registered for sale in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, and part of Asis, is a sophisticated device using patented radio frequency assisted liposuction (RFAL™) technology for effective body contouring and significant skin contraction. BodyTite is ideal for many treatment areas with excess fat including: abdomen, hips, buttocks, thighs, arms, and knees. In the BodyTite handpiece, RFAL energy is deployed from an internal cannula to an external electrode, generating focused energy into the adipose tissue and fatty areas. The development of a simultaneous aspiration-coagulation handpiece removes the hot liquefied adipose tissue immediately, allowing the BodyTite to become a one-step procedure providing a quicker treatment, at least 4x faster than other laser assisted devices. Answer: FDA approved The Body Tite was FDA approved in November 2016. Initially the technology was denied approval in 2011 but Inmode introduced the technology internationally. This allowed it to be improved and provide clinical data which eventually earned the approval. The Body Tite is a game changer. The ability to contract the skin 30-40% without the scars, potential complications, and general anesthesia of excisional surgery is a huge advancement. presently the company has chosen to sell this only to plastic surgeons. I would recommend finding one who is board certified and schedule a consultation to determine if you are a candidate.
