How to Manage Bleeding/leakage After BodyTite on Abdomen?

Question

I have just has Bodytite procedure on tummy area and although its early days a bit concerned about bleeding/leakage. What is 'normal' in terms of blood loss/leakage and when should I be concerned?

Leakage after BodyTite is very common.  It is ok, it's normal and the leakage is better out than staying in for the most part.   Bruising is usually pretty mild but depends on the size of the area treated and the amount of liposuction with the procedure.   The drainage should be clear pink or slightly  bloody and may last for 48 hours.   Excessive drainage, high fevers, bright red blood or milky drainage are signs of things to call your doctor about.

It is normal to leak bloody fluid from the incisions (port sites) after liposuction for a day or 2 (or more) after surgery, but you must see your surgeon to be certain you don't have a complication.
