I want to get bbl therapy for acne and possibly do the bbl forever young. I am on doxycycline for acne (for a month now) which doesn't seem to be working very well. The esthetician believes you need to be off doxy for 2 weeks before undergoing BBL. Is this true? Also, should I discontinue Retin a before undergoing BBL? If so, how long should I be off these medications? Thanks so much!

Absolutely.BBL is often very effective after pre-treatment with topicals such as hydroquinone. I also find it useful to continue with topical treatment after the procedure.Hope that helps!!
