Breast lift scars burned after BBL treatment. Will this resolve as the skin heals or is this permanent?

Sciton Laser BBL and other lasers are reasonable treatment for treating red scars.. If too much energy or passes are used then light blistering is possible especially when treating early immature scars, but in most cases this should self resolve. A series of treatments each 6-8 weeks apart are often required for best results. It would be important to use topical creams to prevent post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (turning brown) between treatments and with follow-up treatment to use gentler settings to prevent further blistering. BBL therapy is actually a good treatment for treating scars
that are very red. This treatment specifically treats the redness in young
immature scars. Generally speaking, patients may need up to 6-8 treatments to
see beneficial results. However like any light therapy, the amount of energy
that is used in the treatment depends on your skin type, which is determined by
the technician before initiating treatment. If you did suffer a burn, it would
be important to moisturize the area at this stage and not to expose your scars
to sunlight as they can become hyperpigmented (darker). I would suggest that if
you do have further treatments that you are properly evaluated to assess your
skin type so that the proper energy levels are administered. TZ
