Hello, I want to get a blepharoplasty and a rhinoplasty, but from two different surgeons. Why opération should I get first? How much time in between each opération is necessary? Thank you
Answer: Blepharoplasty and Rhinoplasty. Which operation should I get first? Hello. Great question. I will recommend doing both at once to avoid going through anesthesia and recovery twice. A board certified plastic surgeon should be an expert in both areas. It does not really matter with procedure you do first. I will suggest balancing the post op requirements. Please visit a board certified plastic surgeon for a detailed surgical plan to achieve your desired results.

Answer: Blepharoplasty and Rhinoplasty Thank you for your question. I typically recommend having both of these procedures at the same time, since that will give you full results with just one time under anesthesia and one recovery process. If you decide to do them separately, I would probably advise you to get the blepharoplasty first, as recovery from this procedure is shorter than rhinoplasty and you could complete the process quicker. Make sure the surgeon or surgeons you work with are both board certified and have ample experience to ensure the best possible outcome.

Answer: Timing of blepharoplasty and rhinoplasty Although blepharoplasty and rhinoplasty could be performed at the same time, it is possible to do them separately. Either one could be done first but it would be important to allow some healing to occur between the procedures. I would say it would take less time after the blepharoplasty than the rhinoplasty before having the second procedure. So, if you wanted them done as soon as possible, I would do the eyelids first.

Answer: Blepharoplasty and Rhinoplasty. Which operation should I get first? These are two commonly performed facial plastic procedures, and certainly could be performed at the same time to reduce the need for two anesthetics and two recovery periods. Since the nasal surgery involves bone remodeling there is a longer recovery for it, so my recommendation would be to perform the eyelid surgery first. To facilitate your recovery from both procedures, you may want to get off of all blood thinners and supplements that cause the clotting cells (platelets) not to function optimally (this will reduce bruising). You should also buy four bags of frozen peas to use for ice packs. The one pound bags work the best to allow mild pressure while conforming to your face. Best of Luck!
