Is a blepharoplasty the right procedure to help correct excess skin in the corners of the eyes? (photos)

Upper blepharoplasty can remove the lateral hood fullness. But it will damage the harmony of your upper eyelids and take away some of the fold that helps give your eyes a natural double fold characteristic. The extension of the upper fold incision laterally to pick up this "extra" tissue will leave a permanent scar in that area that most are very unsatisfactory. Based on your photo and your age, I do not see blepharoplasty as somenthing that will help. You have full, youthful eyelids with ethnick component. Possibly endoscopic brow lift? Hope this helps.

Heaviness in the corners of the eyes is often caused by drooping of the forehead and brow region. There is no good substitute for an in person evaluation, but based on at least one of the photographs it may be a brow lift that you need as opposed to eyelid surgery.
