Botched laser lipo procedure. Is there any way to fix the damage? (Photo)

Question

I had laser lipo done in 2015. The doctor did a poor job as i'm very lumpy. It was done by Windell Boutte who has had her license suspended. Is there any way to fix the damage or am I stuck with looking terrible for the rest of my life? I'll be 49 this year.

It's hard to tell which areas you are referring to, but it looks like there may be some contour irregularities that could be improved with a combination of additional liposuction, fat grafting, and possibly adding vaser with the liposuction.  I would see an experienced surgeon to get a good physical exam and see what they suggest.

Practical.  Thank you for sharing your photos. I see the lumpiness in the photos.  To my eyes, in the photos, it is not that noticeable. Yes, it is not perfect, but the minor imperfections are very hard to correct. I would recommend against further surgery.  Wishing you the best of health.

Hello; due to excessive laser use, because of fibrosis formation and superficial liposuction; there are surface irregularities and pits. For pitting and surface irregularities; Vaserliposuction works very well. However, there is no solution for eliminating excessive fibrosis.

You can most definitely have corrective surgery performed. It would consist of removing small amounts of fat where it’s available with a truly tiny cannula, processing that fat and then reinjecting it into the areas where the hollow or indents are. In my hands, I get nearly 100% of fat survival and all the patients who have come here from elsewhere, are very happy with such an approach. To make an accurate assessment regarding the outcome of a plastic surgery procedure we generally need to see a complete set of proper before and after pictures. If you don’t have before, and after pictures, then see if you can get them from your provider.
Even your provider isn’t practicing medicine, people still have an obligation to maintain medical records for a certain number of years.
Delivering consistent quality, liposuction results is more difficult than most people realize.
The number of plastic surgeons who truly mastered this procedure are in a small minority.
Revision work is many times more difficult than primary Liposuction.
Often some improvements may be had, but they are usually only partial improvements. The most difficult cases to correct or when the previous Liposuction was done aggressively removing too much fat.
