Why is a real breast lift and laser breast lift the same cost?

Hello. I have mild sagging and loose skin in my C cup breasts. Nothing major. I didn’t want any nasty scars of a real breast lift, and I didn’t wanna pay so much for something minor. So I have a consultation next week with a surgeon who does bodytite/Morpheus 8 breast lifts? I really want to try this but the price is around 5k!! That’s insane considering it’s not a real breast lift and can’t give the same results. Why do surgeons charge this much for a laser breast lift??

the cost of surgery depends on a lot of factors (type of surgery, number of treated areas, anesthesia fee, surgeon, facility fee, city, etc.). It would be the best to visit or call plastic surgery offices and ask for a price.

The breast lift using the body tite machine can cost a fair amount. It does take some time to do it. Beyond that however the machine itself is very expensive and you’re covering the cost of that. Before agreeing to the iricedure I would want to see cases that doctor has done. It’s hard to find examples where the results are at all worthwhile

The technology to do this treatment is expensive and the wand used is also pricey. Your surgeon has figured this in as well as the time needed to do the treatment.

There are many factors that come into play.

First what you consider as "nothing major" may actually major from a surgical perspective.

Technology costs a lot. The Bodytite machine is $100,000 to buy and the hand piece is single use with its own cost. Also the time needed to perform breast tightening with an energy device is extensive.

The results are modest but have minimal external scars.

All those things have a cost.

The cost of the technology is very high so surgeons charge high prices to cover the cost of the investment. I have not been impressed with the longevity of the results from this kind of lift.
