I have always been self conscious about my nose, but was told that I should not have a rhinoplasty. I know my forehead is large, but it has never really bothered me. However, it is more apparent to me now. Would I benefit from a forehead reduction? I do have some postpartum hair loss at the top, which may draw more emphasis there Thank you.
Answer: Forehead Reduction I believe that you are an excellent candidate for a hairline advancement/forehead reduction. This will also lift the eyebrows back into the ideal position for the female facial skeletal frame. This would be a relatively straight-forward procedure performed as an outpatient basis. I recommend finding a board-eligible or board-certified plastic surgeon with at least 6 years of plastic surgery residency training.

Answer: It would help balance Any change will draw your eye to it more, which is probably why you notice it more with some hair loss. I always say if something doesn't bother you then it shouldn't bother anyone else, but moving your hairline forward would help balance out your facial 1/3s. Your nose looks great from what I can see, and this is a big part of why we do a lot of treatment simulations, so you can see the change anticipated. It helps identify the changes that will help get you to your goal.

I'm not talking about a big change of your face, is just to give you a refresh look. Kind Regards, Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-

Answer: Forehead reduction In comparison to the rest of your face, your forehead appears tall. However, that is frequent feature in women/man and, if that doesn't bother you, nothing should be done. If you, however, decide to have reduction, it is done along the hairline in zig-zag fashion, so that scar is barely visible. In person consultation or telemedicine consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon with good reputation in this type of surgery, is recommended. Good luck.
