I had implant exchange in April 2024 due to capsulation. I had the same procedure over 10 years ago with no issues. My original implants I had around 1999. This time my left breast pocket was a good 2 inches lower than my right and I had ‘bubble boob’ as the implant was hanging below the scar line. I had a revision in November 2024 with the same surgeon, but I am still unhappy with the result. The bubble boob isn’t as prominent, but they still look and feel odd. After the revision as the skin was so tight due to skin being folded over, I’ve also got a stretched scar which I’ve never had before. Can anyone please offer advice as to whether I should try and revise again? My preference at this stage would be to remove both implants and have a fat transfer instead. Would this be a solution? If I push the implant upwards to where the original scar/fold was they look and feel great. However day to day the implant feels uncomfortable and in the wrong place. Any advice or suggestions of specialist surgeons would be much appreciated.
