Hi, I had fraxel co2 laser done on friday 28th april on my surgical scars( exision scars) on my forehead. The scars were pretty thin before but now they look quite wide. I am so depressed after this! One more thing, the skin is pink. The doctor said that the pinkishness will subside within a week! But it looks as if tht portion of my skin has been burnt! The skin is also differnt in that area. What should i do?? The doctor did not also advice for any medicine to be applied after fraxel co2 laser.

Redness after CO2 laser procedure can persist for a few months. Activity and emotions can alter the redness as well, all will improve with time. Do not hesitate to call or visit your surgeon for reassurance.
