I was on steroids for one year in 2013 due to Sarcoidosis. I was given steroids for that which caused moon face but later when puffiness dropped i had saggy skin and hollow cheeks. I am absolutely fine now but look bad due to hollow cheeks n sagging skin. In my case can I take Juvederm injections for fuller cheeks. I hope it won't trigger the disease

Answer: Can Juvederm injection be taken if one has a history of auto immune disorder?
Twelve syringes of Juvederm would definitely be excessive for the areas you are describing. Nasolabial folds usually do not require more than 1 or 2 syringes of filler and the undereye area is usually improved with no more than one syringe. Each syringe of Juvederm contains 1ml of product....
For lip or smokers lines Volbella is a new option. The filler seems less viscous and injects easier making it more precise for this area but with the longevity we have come to expect from Allergan fillers.
Swelling after a juvederm treatment is very common. I would recommend that you book a 2 week follow up with your injector to assess your filler treatment. Best of Luck
