Does a hanging columella grow?

I have hanging columella and my nose is big so i do nose exercise...so will the hanging columella grow the more i do nose exercise?..

Hanging columella will not grow unless you pull on it constantly. Also nose exercises are unlikely to make the nose smaller.

Hi there,I have heard of the nose exercises becoming popular to try to narrow or shorten the nose. What I have seen is putting the nose on tension (maybe by pulling the mouth) and pressing on the sides or the undersurface. In my opinion, these exercises will not significantly reshape the nose.The surgery to refine the nose and fix the hanging columnella requires reshaping the cartilage and bone under the skin. There are muscles in the nose, but reshaping the nose requires altering the structures under the muscles. I am not aware of any study showing that the exercises help. I hope I am not being a "debbie downer"!

A hanging columella consists of excess skin and cartilage on the lower portion of the nose known as the columella. A columella-plasty can accomplish reducing a hanging columella by trimming excess cartilage and skin. For many examples, please see the link and video below

A hanging columella is an anatomic issue that will not change with exercise.  The best way to correct it is with surgery.

Physical exercises are not associated  with nose s size or hanging columella. Information about you is very short and there are not pics to see the problem.
