Hi there,I have heard of the nose exercises becoming popular to try to narrow or shorten the nose. What I have seen is putting the nose on tension (maybe by pulling the mouth) and pressing on the sides or the undersurface. In my opinion, these exercises will not significantly reshape the nose.The surgery to refine the nose and fix the hanging columnella requires reshaping the cartilage and bone under the skin. There are muscles in the nose, but reshaping the nose requires altering the structures under the muscles. I am not aware of any study showing that the exercises help. I hope I am not being a "debbie downer"!
