How big of breast implants can a guy get?

Question

How large of boobs can a man get with the surgery say I'm a guy who is going transgender and want nice DD breast

Larry S. Nichter, MD, MS, FACS · Answer

No OTC medicine increases breast size in Men ! Stay away from supplements that claim that they can do this- it is a scam. If it worked it would have been tested and FDA approved for this usage.

Breast Implant Size For Transgender PatientsThe implant size has
the same issue for male and female patients. How loose is the skin? What are the overall
dementions of the chest, breast, etc. It may be necessary to stage the
enlargement starting with smaller implants and expanding to larger ones if needed after a year or
so.

Christopher J. Davidson, MD, FACS · Answer

Great question. There
are many variables involved in choosing an implant size. They involve both a discussion of your
expectations while also factoring in the dimensions of your chest and the
amount of breast skin that you are starting with amongst other things. Unfortunately, this is a question that can be
best answered during an in person consultation as opposed to online.

Brooke R. Seckel, MD, FACS (retired) · Answer

Biometric measurements of your chest and breast can be taken to estimate the proper size of breast implants for you. In addition there are breast implant sizing systems which allow for trials of various sized implants to place into your bra. Finally the Rice test may be done at home to give an estimate of the size of implant you want to have.
