Thank you for your question. CoolSculpting® destroys fat cells beneath the skin using controlled freezing, a process called cryolipolysis. The procedure is not designed to tighten the skin and is therefore, primarily recommended for those seeking a moderate decrease in fat bulges or rolls. Depending on how long ago your C-section was, your body may still be healing. If you’re still unhappy with your C-section results after you’ve completely recovered and resumed a healthy and active lifestyle, I recommend consulting with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine the right treatment for you. Good luck.
Thank you for your question. Coolsculpting only targets fat cells and does not have the ability to help in tightening skin. Please consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine the right treatment for you.Regards,
Hello, Thank you for your question. CoolSculpting is designed to remove stubborn pockets of fat. Unfortunately it is not designed to tighten the skin. If you have some remaining fat in the area, you could treat that. If your primary concern is simply tightening the skin in the area, then Coolsculpting would not be for you. Depending on the type of results you want, you may want to consider Profound or Ulthera for that concern. Good luck!
Coolsculpting patients may notice that their skin retracts back because it does take 1-3 months to see results. Skin laxity varies from person to person. But for most patient they have been very happy with the way their skin looks after the procedure
CoolSculpting doesn't tighten skin. It is designed to treat stubborn pockets of fat. There are other methods that can tighten skin, including multiple noninvasive procedures. This would be a better fit for your concerns.
I wouldn't treat anywhere close to the ileostomy. If you want to treat an area that's opposite the ileostomy, there should be no problem. See your local Coolsculpting provider and they can provide you with the most accurate assessment. Hope this helps, Dr. Garry K. Kim
