Can an entire body be coolsculpted at the same general time? Or a things done in regions - like one region at a time with a break?

The cool sculpting process can be used on all applicable body parts roughly at the same visit. It does take about 45 minutes to treat each area so it could make for a very long day. Busy Practices of course would have two machines so you could have two areas being treated at once for convenience. This is often referred to as DualSculpting.

Hello, Thank you for your question. Several areas of the body can be treated in the same day. We give a full body consultation and wish list. With the new advantage handpieces and dualsculpting you are able to get a significant amount done. The advantage handpieces are 35 minutes, and with two machines you can have two areas treated at a time. Making it possible to treat more than 10 areas in a day!

There are a few points to consider for this question. First, the length and number of CoolSculpting® treatments that you’ll need will greatly depend on which areas of the body you’re talking about and what specific techniques are being used. To address the first part, if you are getting several different areas treated, you’ll likely require more than one CoolSculpting® appointment. Keep in mind, though, that this isn’t a weight loss tool, so you’ll see the best results once you’ve already reached your weight loss goals.
Secondly, my practice uses a method called DualSculpting&trade;, which can treat two areas of your body at the same time, essentially cutting your treatment time in half. We can also use a “stacking technique,” where we treat the target areas a second time within the same appointment so that you don’t need to come back for a follow-up session for that same area. My best advice would be to schedule a consultation with a certified CoolSculpting® provider to give you a better idea of what your treatment plan might entail. Best of luck to you!

Most offices have two machines. Therefore, only two areas can be treated simultaneously. Although , it is almost impossible to treat inner thighs at the same time.

You can definitely do several areas of Coolsculpting on the same day.  Depending on your goals you can have your inner and outer thighs, arms, abdomen, flanks, "banana roll" or "double chin" or other area treated during the same day.  Only one area at a time should be treated and I always tell patients to start with the area that bothers them most.  Please consult an expert in Coolsculpting for the best cosmetic results.  Best, Dr. Green

There is no maximum number of Coolsculpting cycles or sites that can be done in one day.  The entire body can not be Coolsculpted--we do need to pick and choose areas of stubborn fat that will lend themselves to treatment.  For the best Coolsculpting plan and advice, consider an in person consultation ,or at least a virtual consultation, with a provider that is experienced in treating the entire body and knows how to best utilize each applicator for your optimal results.
