The machines will often give error message to protect the patients skin. If the tissue is not freezing correctly it can result in first or second degree burn. So it is important for the specialist to follow the exact protocol. If they are following the correct protocol you can retreat the same area as long as the treatment goes full cycle. Generally, the full cycle is 30 min.

I had a new 35 min coolsculpting treatment. The machine stopped 13 minutes into the treatment. They started the machine after 4 minutes or so but the site heated up. The timer started again at 35 min and stopped at 17 minutes or 17 minutes into the treatment. I believe the total treatment time was only 30 minutes with the warming of the skin in between. Will this be an issue with my results.

If you want to do CoolSculpting on your abs, how many treatments are required?

Most offices have two machines. Therefore, only two areas can be treated simultaneously. Although , it is almost impossible to treat inner thighs at the same time.

I had 3 treatments on my flanks and upper and lower abdominal areas. Since my 3rd treatment I have many of my patients tell me it looks like I've lost weight. I just tell them " I have coolsculpting to thank!"

How many CoolSculpting treatments does the average person generally have or need? I understand that if they do multiple areas then that will increase the number of treatments. But if they have one area, such as the abdomen, why would they need more than one treatment if the fat cell removal is permanent? No....Coolsculpting is considered &nbsp;a cosmetic procedure&nbsp;.&nbsp;Although, it is non invasive procedure &nbsp;insurance companies will not cover the costs.

I live in ny and coolsculpting is very expensive especially the large applicator i would like to know what the average cost for the large applicator for lower abdomen

How much is coolsculpting for lower abdomen?

Coolsculpting patients may&nbsp;notice that their skin retracts back because it does take 1-3 months to&nbsp;see results. Skin laxity varies from person to person. But for most patient they have been very happy with the way their skin looks&nbsp;after the procedure&nbsp;

My tummy after c-section became loose. Will coolsculpting work for me to tighten my skin?

It will only help with the bulges&nbsp;on the treated &nbsp;areas. Coolsculpting cannot remove or reduce any cellulite.

Can I get smoother skin overall with the coolsmooth applicator on the side and back of thighs? The outer sides of my thighs clearly have fat which I know I can get rid of through coolsmooth.. I'm wondering if the same on the back will also help with achieving an overall smoother skin.

Coolsculpting is great for patients who are 18- 80. There are no specific ages that one would best respond to the treatment. It is great for any one who has those problematic areas that they cannot lose through diet and exercise.

Many people that I have read comments from are women in their 30s after pregnancy getting cryolipolysis. What is the minimum age to be qualified for this procedure? Also, will this procedure affect sexual intercourse 2 weeks after it is done or future pregnancies like in 5 years time?

CoolSculpting is not a weight loss treatment. It is great for those patient who are already living a healthy lifestyle and are wanting to reduce an area/s that cannot be removed through diet and exercise alone. With the first treatment you are receiving a 20-25% reduction so those remaining fat cells will increase in size if one continues to gain weight.

I am wondering about the long term consequences associated with CoolSculpting. If a person is obese and does not change their eating habits after fat removal, do remaining fat cells - ones in organs, for instance, take on more fat? The worry is that remaining fat cells associated with the heart and other organs would expand in response to removal of more obvious surface fat.

I got treated on my love handles and I can definitely feel a difference in my t shirts.
