Are the results after nose taping what my nose will look like once swelling is gone? (Photo)

Hello and thank you for your question. After rhinoplasty (nasal surgery), the nose can become REALLY swollen, and this swelling can take a LONG TIME to resolve (up to 1-2 years to fully resolve). The taping definitely has a noticeable improvement, based on your pictures, but it's hard to say how representative this is of your final result. I would recommend that you continue to observe things for now. You could consider steroid injections, as this may help with some swelling, but ultimately you should wait the full 2 years to see what your final results will be. I constantly remind all my rhinoplasty patients how important it is to be patient after rhinoplasty surgery as it can take up to 2 years to see what the final nose will look like. I hope this helps!

Continue taping if you think it helps. However you have a very nice result. Nasal tip swelling can take over a year to completely resolve

After the year the skin remains adapted and will be attached to the cartilage without inflammation and will be your final result. a lot of patience is required in patients with thick skin because in patients with thick skin this adaptation can take twice as long.
