How long would you advise your patient to wait after having a rhinoplasty to undergo a buccal fat removal? I will not be having buccal fat removal done at the same time as my rhinoplasty so I will have to have my buccal fat removal after. The buccal fat removal will be done under Local anaesthesia, is it okay to have it done a month after my rhinoplasty? Or any earlier? Thank you

I encourage you to share your plans with your rhinoplasty surgeon as well. I have commonly performed both procedures during one surgery, helping my patient avoid multiple recovery periods as well as anesthesia twice. Local anesthesia is a nice option for this procedure as well.
