I had bucal fat removal done 5 days ago, I was super swallowed the first two days and now I just look exactly the same as I did before. The doctor took all possible fat I had on my cheeks so I am worried nothing will change on my face and I will just look the same. They dont seem to be swollen anymore.

It is normal and expected to have cheek swelling after buccal fat removal. Doing the first 1-2 weeks face looks like if no surgery was done. Results will start showing up by the 3rd week. The final results can be seen after all the swelling has subsided in 12 weeks.

I tell people the swelling takes a month to go away. Obviously when you are swollen you will not notice a huge difference. The contour changes are subtle in general. Keep waiting!
