Tummy tuck revision - how much can these 7 concerns be addressed? (Photos)

Thanks for posting your pre and post operative pictures, though a side view picture would have been helpful. From observing your post operative pictures , it appears that at this stage a standard tummy tuck will be able to correct most of your concerns. It will give you a flat stomach, nicer belly button, narrower waists, flatter and more attractive pubic area and finally a better scar. Temporarily , you will still have some indentation from the previous liposuction, however , they will look much better and if you will lose weight due to the abdominal muscles tightening that will reduce the amount of food that you can eat and your sense of hunger , most likely they will disappear.
Always, consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeons( I have performed over 1500) who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety. Most importantly, check the before and after pictures in the photo gallery to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive as described above.

A full tuck will address all your concerns. The only one I'm not sure about is your complaint of a 'flat vagina'; I think you're referring to the result of a high place scar above your pubic area. You will want a much lower scar for better aesthetics. What you don't want is anything other than a tuck; no lipo or smart lipo or vaser lipo. The surgery will be geared toward release of scar tissue and recruitment of upper belly skin to allow as much skin unfurling as possible, which will lead to as much smoothing as possible.

Based on these photos, one would think of liposuction as a first option. Selective liposuction of the areas of irregularity, partially without suction, would create more even anterior/lower abdomen. Whether additional revision of BB and/or abdominal scar may be considered is every hard to say based on these photos. Good luck.

Mini tummy tucks are often a dissapointment especially in your case since it didn’t address the irregularities in the upper abdomen. You could consider converting the mini to a full tummy tuck. The result will be much better

Based on your before photo it appears that liposuction alone would have given a nice result. At this point I would visit with a few board certified plastic surgeons to hear varying opinions. From your photos a revision would bring improvement.

Your photos do not show all of your concerns. Improvement of your concerns can be obtained with full abdominoplasty. A mini abdominoplasty will usually give a mini result. I would choose a plastic surgeon with experience in this kind of surgery.

Appears from the before posted photo you were not a TT candidate. But now after having the TT you have postop issues. I think revision of TT with correction of incision & pubic can be achieved as for your bb doubt much can be done. Expect fees in the $10,000 ranges. Best to virtual consult with.....

To make an assessment on the outcome of an operation we need to see proper before and after pictures.
None of the pictures are taken correctly. If you don’t have proper before and after pictures and ask the surgeon who did your procedures to forward the ones they took.
We need to patience standing upright and straight with the pictures taken at right angles from about 8 feet away.
To get a quality assessment you’re probably better off scheduling in person consultations and then relying on low quality pictures.
Choosing a sufficiently skilled and talented provider is the quintessential most important decision when it comes to cosmetic surgical outcomes.
To do that I recommend patients rely exclusively on in person consultations preferably staying with local board-certified plastic surgeons.
During each consultation bring with you proper pictures of your torso to use as a reference.
During the consultation ask each provider to open their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before and after pictures.
Providers may be apprehensive in doing this but patients should take ownership and recognize they are the ones vetting and hiring the plastic surgeon and have a full right to see supporting evidence of consistent quality work.
For reference an experienced plastic surgeon should have no difficulty showing you at least 50 sets of before and after pictures of commonly perform procedures like a domino liposuction or a tummy tuck.
Look carefully at all the pictures to make sure there are no skin contour irregularities or for tummy tuck pictures pay close attention to who gets the most natural looking belly button with a low set scar that follows anatomic contours naturally.

Ask providers to show you examples of excellent outcomes, average outcomes and less than outcomes. We all have a variety of outcomes and it’s fair for patients to ask to see them.
Specifically ask providers to show as many pictures as possible of patients who have very similar body characteristics to your own.
Being shown a handful of preselected pictures which most likely represent the best results of a provider‘s career is totally insufficient to get a clear understanding of an average results look like in the hands of each provider or how much experience each surgeon actually has.
Familiarize yourself with what quality results look like by reviewing lots and lots of before and after pictures online. Look very carefully on the before pictures and make sure you are selecting other cases which have similar body characteristics to your own. once you are somewhat familiarized with what quality results should look like create a reading or grading scale to judge each plastic surgeon during an in person consultation.
Make notes and pay close attention to how much time is spent during the consultation in regards to thoroughness in making an assessment, discussing various cheap and options, reviewing preparation and recovery, discussing the risks and complications, did the surgeon talk about revision policy?, detail oriented providers will be thorough in all their work and this includes thorough consultations.
Continue having consultations until you feel very comfortable you found the most talented and experience provider to meet your needs.
Secondary or revision surgery is more complex and far more difficult than primary procedures.
What can or cannot be accomplished during revision surgery is highly dependent on what was done during the previous procedure or procedures.
Patients should recognize that operations like liposuction and tummy tuck surgery are permanent and irreversible.
The time for provider selection is before surgery is scheduled.
I recognize that doesn’t help your current situation but secondary surgery is approached in many ways the same way primary procedures are.
You still need to vent plastic surgeons to find the most experienced and talented provider.
You will then need to let that individual provider tell you what they can or cannot accomplish with recommended procedures.
I don’t think you’re going to get quality answers to your seven questions by posting them on real self.
I suggest Setting up multiple in person consultations with other local providers to see what each one has to say.
It takes an active role to vet plastic surgeons and choose the right one.
Finally I recommend patient read all reviews on the various physician review websites avoiding providers for any significant number of justified negative reviews. The absence of justified negative reviews is more important and more telling than having an abundance of positive reviews.
You may also want to consider writing some reviews regarding your own personal experience. I’m sure you would’ve appreciated other patients who have gone through similar experiences sharing their experience before you chose your provider and procedure.
Regardless if the patient has had a good or bad experience reviews should be written in an honest and professional manner.
When in doubt slow down and schedule more consultations.
There’s no substitute for the time and effort required to find the right provider when it comes to plastic surgical procedures.
The process cannot be simulated through virtual consultations or online searches.
